Volunteers from all over Cornwall are hosting their annual Trewithen Classic Cars and Country Fayre at Trewithen Gardens, Probus on Sunday 30th July 2017. This will be the 4th year, thanks to the support of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Galsworthy and family, that Marie Curie volunteers have hosted a great day out. There will be many attractions including over 100 classic vehicles, displays of new luxury cars from local dealerships, a fun dog show, archery, and a host of craft, antique and food stalls. Visitors will also have the opportunity to stroll through the beautiful gardens during the day.
Truro Male voice choir, St Dennis Youth Band and The Roseland Community Choir will entertain visitors.
There will be a return of the local Police Dog Handling team which will be followed a Fun Dog Show. New this year at Trewithen will be an antique valuation session courtesy of local auctioneer Phillip Buddell, and a gardeners Question Time hosted by Gary Long, head gardener at Trewithen, with a panel of fellow experienced horticulturists.
Entry is only £5 per person, free for under 16yrs. This is a wonderful opportunity to support the work of the local Marie Curie Nursing Service. This event will help pay for the Marie Curie nurses in Cornwall who support those local families who have a terminal illness. This wonderful service is free of charge to everyone. Every £20 raised today will pay for an hour of dedicated nursing care. This allows someone the priceless care they need to spend their last precious moments in their own home surrounded by their family and friends.
The show runs from 11:00hrs to 16:00hrs and is open to all members of the public.
Entry £5 per person (under 16’s free but must be accompanied by an adult) includes entry to the beautiful gardens at Trewithen.
